Good. Very true, simple yet important. My father is older and I started to choke up as he read it to me.
I purchased this book for my grandson-in-law, who is expecting a baby daughter in the spring ! He loved the book. I read it prior to giving it to him, and thought it was a very touching little book !
This is a touching, beautiful book that I bought for my son who is expecting his first child, a little girl. It was part of his birthday gift and he really loved it. I think it is a thoughtful gift for any new dad of a girl.
Bought it for my husband as a Father's Day gift. He is NOT a man who reads books, but since the writing in this is very minimal, accompanied by beautiful touching pictures, it's easily read, and the messages get through. (even made him tear up a few times....)
The perfect gift for dad. Whether she is 2 or 25, so many of these reasons ring true. This book provides newer dads guidance on where to spend their time and attention. Those with experience will be able to reflect back on memories and know that they were there in the right way, providing the right support and guidance to shape the young woman who holds their heart.
I got this as a gift for my Dad for Father's Day, and it made me cry my eyes out when I read it! It is the perfect book for a Dad from a Daughter. Also made my Dad shed some tears, he came in and hugged me after he'd been reading it for a bit. Love this book. If you haven't bought this for you Daddy yet, you should now.
I think I found this more touching than my husband did, but I bought this for my 1.5 year old daughter to give to him for father's day. I teared up reading through it and thinking of them, but he claimed he read through it in 5 minutes, and disagreed with some of the "reasons" written in the book. Overall, though, he did appreciate it and liked the gift, and I hope it's something they can read together on future father's days.
